About Red Letter Days

Set up in 1989, Red Letter Days pioneered the concept of giving unforgettable experiences as gifts. The idea really caught people’s imaginations and Red Letter Days has gone from strength to strength. Today they offer hundreds of experiences in the UK and abroad; an unrivaled choice with something to suit every taste, occasion and budget.

The joint owners, Peter Jones and Theo Paphitis, are both big names from big companies. Both elite entrepreneurs in their own right, Peter Jones is Chairman of Phones International Group and has many other business interests from media and TV to property and publishing. Theo Paphitis is Chairman and Chief Executive of Ryman, Contessa and Partners as well as non-executive director of La Senza. And you might just recognise their faces from BBC2’s popular business investment series ‘Dragons’ Den’!

Links of London offer an eclectic mix of men’s and women’s jewellery in sterling silver and 18 carat gold, with an enviable collection of charms and charm bracelets for you to choose from. They also offer a desirable mix of leather and silver items, for the home or the workplace, or for the perfect gift.

Links of London was founded in 1990 by Annoushka Ducas and her husband, John Ayton. The company resulted from a simple request for a pair of fish cufflinks - bizarre but true. Annoushka’s mother commissioned her to design and manufacture a pair of sterling silver cufflinks, as a gift for her loyal restaurant clients.

So what’s so different about Links of London?

Well, they always have something exciting and new to offer. Design and function and endeavour to bring you contemporary classics, fashion must-haves and that extra special piece you weren’t expecting to find. That could be a nodding dog or a champagne bubble blower, an 18ct gold sweetie bracelet or a disco diva charm.

Harvey Nichols, the exclusive London fashion store, loved the design and ordered a whole collection. Links of London was born and today we have grown internationally with stores in the UK, Hong Kong, USA and Canada
